Finding the Right Size
To ensure the best fit, measure the circumference of your shakuhachi's utaguchi about 3 cm below the mouthpiece using a flexible tape measure (or a piece of string and a ruler).
Important Sizing Tip: While the leather has some give and will mold to your flute with use, it can be quite snug initially. If your measurement falls between sizes, or if you are unsure, I highly recommend sizing up. It is always better for the cap to be slightly loose than too tight to fit.
