Made from bamboo purchased from my teacher, Ichijou Kobyashi.
Joint rings are sterling silver with black and red urushi lacquer.
The mouthpiece is black acrylic in the Kinko school shape (I now prefer artificial inlays over horn and ivory for durability).
Bamboo thickness is quite wide, resulting in a weight of 396 grams.
Musically, it’s a balanced, modern flute.
